Workshop on Cirrus Clouds and their Supersaturated Environment - Invitation

Dear colleagues,

the European COST Action 723

Data Exploitation and Modeling for the Upper Troposphere 
and Lower Stratosphere

plans to hold a 2 day workshop on the topic of

Cirrus Clouds and their Supersaturated Environment

at DLR Oberpfaffenhofen (Germany) on 11 and 12 October 2004.


The goal of the workshop is to bring together the research topics of
cirrus clouds on the one hand and ice--supersaturated regions on the
other.

The attached list of topics presents a number of science questions
that should be addressed at the workshop. Of course, we do not claim
that this list is complete, so any ideas are welcome. The workshop
should combine presentations and working group discussion, perhaps
also posters. It should result in new ideas for future research on
cirrus clouds WITHIN their environment, or vice versa, on
supersaturated regions WITH their embedded cirrus clouds.

to this topic please look at the Program and fill out the registration
form (incl. a short abstract of your contribution).

COST can reimburse a limited number of persons (about 10).
